This Privacy Policy explains how Collabo.az handles information when you use the Collabo.az Android SIP app.
1. Who we are

2. What the App does
The app lets authorized users sign in, make and receive calls, view call history, use contacts, and manage account settings.
3. What information we use
What we use depends on how you use the App and which permissions you allow:
- Account data. Your SIP login, domain, passwords, or portal tokens so you can sign in and use the service.
- Call data. Call signaling, time, duration, status, phone numbers or SIP addresses, and call audio while a call is active. We do not use call audio for advertising.
- Contacts. If you allow contact access, the app can read names and numbers stored on your device to help with search, dialing, and transfers.
- Call history. History stored on your phone, and history from your Collabo account if you sync with the portal.
- Device and tech data. Things like device model, Android version, network info needed to connect, app version, registration status, and logs that help us fix call quality problems.
- Notifications. So we can show incoming calls (including full-screen or heads-up alerts when Android allows it) and keep the phone service running in the background when needed.
- Push tokens. If push notifications are enabled, we may use a device token to wake the app for incoming calls.
4. Permissions
- Microphone - needed for voice calls.
- Contacts - optional, for search, dialing, and transfers.
- Notifications - for incoming call alerts.
- Background call permissions - so calls continue to work reliably when the app is not open on screen.
- Internet and related background permissions - so the app can connect, register, and receive calls more reliably.
You can turn optional permissions off in Android Settings. Some features will stop working if you do.
5. Why we use the data
- To run calls, registration, transfers, and history.
- To sign you in to Collabo.
- To keep the service stable and help with support.
- To follow the law when we must.
6. Legal grounds (where GDPR or similar rules apply)
We use data to provide the service requested by you or your company, based on your consent for optional permissions like Contacts, and where needed to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
7. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Collabo systems that we run (or someone runs for us) so you can make and receive calls and use account features.
- Your company administrator if your account belongs to an organization that uses Collabo services.
- Service providers like hosting or Google Play services (for example push) only as needed to run the App.
- Authorities when the law requires it.
Call audio and signaling may pass through the servers and network services configured for your account.
8. How long we keep data
- On your phone: history, settings, and saved logins stay until you clear app data, log out, or uninstall.
- On our side: call records and account data are kept according to your agreement with Collabo and our normal service retention rules.
9. Security
We use reasonable security measures, including protected local storage for sensitive data and encrypted communication where supported. No system can be completely secure.
10. Children
This app is intended for business and adult users. We do not knowingly target children.
11. Data in other countries
Depending on where our systems and your company operate, data may be processed in more than one country. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to see, fix, delete, or get a copy of your data, or ask us to limit some processing. Email [email protected]. You can also manage many permissions in Android settings, and remove local data by logging out or uninstalling. If your company manages the account, you may need to go through your admin.
